Wukong little buff

I tried a lot of runes combinations on Wukong...I get Q as first ability, then W, so my clone can tank some damage from camps, but I barely finish my blue/red side jungle. I think he needs a buff for early game.

Wukong jungle main here, I take E first, then w, maxing E. Clear both sides small camps first, then recall, you will have a hard time trying to clear red or blue. Take talisman over machete for the extra sustain.

Dont just dive in with E either, walk up, auto and then immediately E. Same with Q. Wait to use W for right before the monster attacks, it will tank 2 hits for you.

As much as I would like a buff, I feel like he doesnt really need one and it would just cause problems. He feels just right.

I have checked the wiki, the last real change to wukong was in 4,5 patch ( the other changes are only bug fixes). We are in 6.6, so we are playing with the same champion of 2 years ago...... meanwhile the other champions are been reworked or buffed and now he can't stand at their level no more imo

  1. Don't start Q, start E
  2. Kite melee camps in between hits, it significantly reduces damage taken.
  3. Learn how to work with your teammates and bait a lane gank. Lane ganks are easy with Wukong due to his Decoy.
  4. Wukong doesn't need Ult to gank. His pre-6 damage is ridiculously good and the CC your lanes carries are usually enough to score a kill, especially with red.
  5. If you position your ganks correctly, the opponents will flash most of the time. This is because they do not get a headstart retreat that you see normally due to your Decoy allowing you to get into close range before pouncing. If your opponent flashes, revisit and camp the lane continuing to use your Decoy has a gap closer.
  6. You have two gap closers and an empowered auto reset at level 3 - use it.

There's a reason they won't buff Wukong.

Let his passive activate off jungle camps. Maybe for half value or something.
