Ok look I know people always say the reason is because of my team but look at the stats right my support and I won laning phase but, warwick purely fed and in the midst of all this I lose 20 LP. Why? I thought that ranked was about how you play but I'm starting to feel the only thing that matters is win/loss. I didn't make this post just because of that game this has happened way too much, yes I do horrible on my own sometimes but most of the time I do fine so why do I deserve to lose the same amount of LP? I've been in silver promos twice now and both times I lost them because of an AFK or someone who can't play safe and farm. But anyway I just ask do any of you have any tips? Because I've tried and my gameplay and the way i play is decent so any other tips on how to get out of bronze? Or is it just pure luck to get a game with people who can not feed? (I don't really know which board to post this in so I just go miscellaneous.

STOP. CARING. ABOUT. YOUR. TEAM!

It doesn't matter.

You are the common denominator in your games. the only way out of bronze is to better YOURSELF.

work on YOUR CS.

work on YOUR MAP AWARENESS.

work on YOUR WARDING (yes, get that upgraded trinket at lvl 9 and outward your support who has a sightstone!)

work on YOUR MECHANICS (osu, aimbooster, etc...)

work on YOUR POSITIONING

I'd suggest not playing a role like ADC to get out of bronze as an ADC is quite dependant on a decent team to actually make an impact. I'd suggest jungling instead and try from there. I'm currently Platinum 2 from Silver 5 and I can tell you I tried every lane but by far Jungle was the most impactful for me. Good luck.

LP loss is based on MMR between you and your enemies, the lower your MMR is compared to your enemies the more LP you lose. Some games aren't winnable, especially this one. You guys were losing from the start so its no surprise. Keep on trying though.

Alas, it truly is Win/Loss

This is because, if you are good, you will have a marginally positive win percentage and move up. The better you are, the larger the win/loss gap. I personally feel that the structure is preferable to many other solutions, but it can be highly frustrating to play in, due to its grindy nature.
