Tips for League

I was thinking about how great a game league of legends is, and how well the developers are maintaining the game and continue producing content for it. The main point is I was wondering if anyone else would think it would be a good idea to implement a "Charity/Tip" option method of payment toward League with the idea being to help developers keep doing what they do best, and to keep the game pure and to stay away from the (pay to win atmosphere). There's always ideas on enhancing the experience of league, but it's the developers who have to put in the hard work and to making it all happen. Anyways it's just an idea I felt league of legends is one of those game you can't really replace or subsidize sort of like checkers or chess and i'm wondering if anyone else thought tipping league every now and then was a good idea.

you havent been playing for very long it seems. They only are doing some good things atm because we bitch about it to no return till they realize their idea is utter trash. They dont deserve a tip more like a swift kick in the ass.

The people responsible for the game being good are not even in riot anymore. If you are trying to "tip" a billionaire company that doesnt listen to its fans until they lose customers then you are incompetent.

In all seriousness though, your idea is rather dim-witted and lacks any sort of merit. If you want to "donate" money to league, just buy a skin or something. It costs them like .00002 cents to physically give you it yet you pay $3-10 for it. [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

Just to give my idea a little more sense of reasoning let me explain not everyone has the same mindset. There's a difference in spending money on something compared to donating. If I spend money on league which I may or may not, I am not thinking about who is getting my money, I am just thinking of the transaction. If I were to think in that sense, the result is being that I may never spend a dime on the company and probably the same for many others. However whenever you eat at a restaurant and you are given the option to tip you come to that crossroad in your mind, and then you either tip or you don't. I think the option would be nice even if I am one of very few who choose to tip. They do have the option to buy cosmetics or to upgrade runes and champions, but not everyone is in need of those options or chooses to spend money without any leverage. Some people may not even be around a computer, they may just watch it like sports or have other things going on.
