LP Losses During Promos (please read)

Hey all. I just finished my 4th promo failure to platinum 5 and after each promo loss i loss 3 games worth of lp after the promos. For example, I get to 100 lp for promos, I lose promos 0 - 3, and boom 44 LP. Is this a joke? Why am I punished so hard for losing promos? I get being placed back to 75 LP, but 44? I have pretty good mmr so I am pretty confused.

Once again this was as if i lost 3 back to back games while not in promos. Shouldn't I not lose LP for losses while in promos?

If you check your LP amount while in promos, with at least 1 loss, you can see you have already lost LP for it and are no longer at 100 LP.

The system should be that when you lose games in promos that it doesn't effect your LP that you earned trying so hard to even get into promos. I am totally fine with being punished with a games worth of LP loss after losing promos, but THREE....
