Remember that "compensation" for the server move

I thought after the server move ping spikes would be a rarity but now my team mates and myself have higher base ping with the same darn ping spikes, it actually seems less stable lately. I hope something can be done about the ping spike issue because it's those that make the game unplayable. I am fine playing with 60-90 ping but when it constantly spikes to 400+ every darn game I get a little miffed because Riot said that as compensation for ping increasing in the west we should have a more stable connection. Nothing has changed on my network since before the server move and I am seeing frequently more ping spikes and larger spikes since the server is now farther away. Remember all those threads from eastern players complaining about 90-120 ping? well the issue just swapped sides albeit to a lesser degree but still it sucks.
