Ward Skins on Trinkets

Hey guys, I got a question about ward skins purchased for use on Wards in-game.

I know that the skins already apply to vision and stealth wards, but do they also work on the basic trinkets we start off with in early game? I wanted to use a custom skin on the trinkets, not just the V/S wards.
