Hey guys, I saved up enough IP to purchase a new champion, and I wanna pick between Kalista or Twitch. Which should I purchase and why?
I was trying out Kalista all this week and I really like her kit and all, but she seems pretty difficult to play overall. I tried out Twitch a while back and he seemed fun also, but couldn't decide if I wanted to buy him when Kalista first released. I don't know which to buy at this point.

tTops2 votesIf you play solo queue most of the time and intend on playing this champion in it, get Twitch. By no means is Kalista a solo queue champion.
Twitch plays like evelyn in the mid game and can carry a team really hard if in the right hands. Kalista relies on other people being comfortable with her ult and, unless someone else gets fed or builds properly, your team would have no way to deal with a fed ADC. Also, Kalista's apm:playability is much higher than other adcs and because of this, she has a high skill floor. (Twitch will carry harder, easier)
So basically, Kalista works well if you're playing with a team who's comfortable with her, and if you've practiced her a LOT. Twitch would be a saver pick if you intend on playing him/her in solo queue since he's more of a solo carry than Kalista. Get some nice ganks, put your team on your back, save christmas, win the olympics, and win the game. (and Kalista just can't do this)
Final note: Vayne is a strong duelist because her ultimate allows her to fight safely within an adc's range, without being auto-attacked. Only thing Kalista can do is jump around within the enemy adc's range, not really doing anything (kinda like the scene in Indiana Jones where the dude with the swords tried to intimidate Indy with flashy maneuvers, but he just shoots the guy)
Rondezvous1 votesI agree with you completely, I found it difficult to play Kalista ever since she went f2p this past week. I feel like it's really hard to mobilize with her and I lose many matches overall because of that. Guess I'll be picking Twitch.

If you want to get shit on by melee go twitch. He is hard to learn but carries harder than any other adc in the game. It takes a while to get a hang of him though.

Creamy Seaman1 votesTwitch is not a good solo q champ. Kalista is better for solo q. also as soon as twitch gets caught out he is dead. Kalista has an infinite amount of dashes.
Always max E on both first. Don't stop stacking E on kalista as it stacks an infinite amount of times.

Junkο1 votesYou would be winning more games with Twitch, Kalista is a kite ADC, Twithc is a carry ADC.
Twitch could take out entire teams (except full tanks) with his ult if he is fed and is left alone. Best Kalista could do while fed is endlessly kite(and kill the enemy ADC in a 1v1), she doesn't really have any hyper carry potential, but her E can deal a ton of damage if she can stack it up, even to tanks.
However if you have a friend that plays support i suggest Kalista, there is a lot of cool stuff you can do with a friend and if you screw up you def won't rage at each other (or you will and get over it in a few minutes).
If you are playing solo, i suggest Twitch since you aren't dependent on somebody else for some of your kit power. Plus if you buy Twitch you can buy another champ or get 3150 IP more for Kalista while playing him :D
I find both equally fun to play, Twitch because he has some assassin playstyle in his kit with Q and i am a mainly assassin player, and Kalista because of her ult and kiting potential (mostly the ult though)

I like to mid lane most of my time with Akali so I really do well with assassin-like builds and kits. I like to KO the enemies when I can as quick as possible. I hate to be reliant upon other teammates sometimes.
Mirage Seraph1 votesThey're both my favorite ADCs in the game (barring Draven, because Draven). They can both be played outside of the bot lane, they both play in a unique way as opposed to just being a right click bot, really they're both super fun.
Personally though, I'd go with Twitch. Nothing beats shredding 5 people at one with Bork and Runaan's. Except for Draven. Buy Draven.
Rondezvous1 votesThat is true, he does shred indeed. But I heard that Riot nerfed his kit? Is that worth the risk then? I'm looking for a good early game champ that can help carry all the way.
Kamatra1 votesI would recommend Ezreal and Draven. They are more rewarding if you can learn them. Twitch and Kalista are just a bit weak right now (IMO).
