Should the boards have a PM system?

The main thread is in GD, but not everyone ventures there so I'll put a link to the initial thread here in misc too, and hope the mods don't get antsy and pull it since it's in two spots (please mods! It's a visibility move, I'm trying to reach as many board users as possible). The basic idea is why not have a private message system for the boards? Discuss as you will folks.

I'd rather not. The only people I want speaking to me in private are the ones I'd friend in the client (in which case I'll add them to talk). Not saying it's a terrible idea, I simply don't care for it.

There's some good discussion on the subject in the GD thread, have a look folks.

Is this something, if implemented, you guys would prefer as a fek feature or a natural board feature? It's starting to look like it may become part of fek.
