why is he stuck in the log-in screen? what are those things holding them and why cant he just use scissors to cut them?

[zombie-brand-facepalm] the idea is he's trying to do that, the tendrils are preventing him from teleporting. you cant go through a door if someones holding you back and not letting you through.
