We need something that'll tell us if we're going to be AFK or not

Hi, I'm currently a player who's deeply in vain because I cannot connect to some games (about 1/4 of them) due to the firewall issue. My firewall is off, and the tech support I've contacted says it's on my end, but it seems ironic that I can actually connect to some games, I don't think it's an issue on my side.

Due to the updated LeaverBuster system, my AFK's became a bigger pain in the butt. I know my AFK's create a bad experience for my team and I try to avoid it but the firewall error really pops up randomly, once in a week or so. However I still get flagged for a Leaver, and it's giving me negative effects while I cannot do anything about it.

I've heard enough of Rioters and people saying "Duh then don't play it" or "Make a custom game, then." In the former, the reason I am trying to connect is because I want to play the game, and in the latter I want to state that custom games, in my experience, does not reflect the real game connection stability. I get into most of the custom games I create, and it really takes a long time getting into one game, exiting, waiting for the game to stop/end, and try just few more times to check my connection.

The thing is, we, 'Leavers' need something to check our connection. I've found on the internet, "ping xxx.xx.xx", but it seems quite inaccurate as I had stable ping but couldn't connect to game. We need a program, or at least some ip address of some sort that has been verified, which we can ping in order to check what our connection will be in-game.

My internet's fine, and my client is perfectly okay connecting to your servers, but not the game itself. Please, help me connect to your games and make everyone happier. Thank you.

Try making sure you don't have a network firewall along with your router, or check to see if your router is blocking some of League's servers. They have over 100 different servers.

Also, you could just try opening some ports through one or all of your firewalls (If you have a separate network firewall as well as your router/modems).

I get the firewall issue in maybe 1/50 games after this patch, it's definitely a bug on their end because I don't have a firewall enabled. lel
