That if a lane is losing no one should help it but blame the person in the lane when they lose and bash on them all game and act like they did nothing wrong when the guy has been asking for help :|

It depends on the situation, I had a game not long ago where both bot and mid we're getting fed with help from the jungler. Our top laner died 1v1 no big deal but now he's behind and continues trying to fight the enemy top laner and just feeding them.

Like for god's sake just sit back and play safe and let your team carry you. Great example i'm a support main had to go top one of my games, my bot lane and mid lane was kicking ass so you know what i did??? I PLAYED SMART and let them carry.

i was losing hard to zed needed the help from our jungle it got to a point where zed was just diving turrets and getting kills so i couldnt do squat jungle dosent show up once till i lost both turrets and so the whole team just blamed me and i basically got mass reported while trying to farm up in the jungle

Why even allot him to get that fed in the first place?? Okay you died once to biggie now play safe and just farm. Let your jungler get the other lanes ahead and stop dying.

i couldnt play safe zed was just diving towers and killing me there was littarly no where i could go once he hit 6 i was done for i even sat back at the second turret and he still managed to walk out with a kill using his shadows to juke turrets

A Zed was "Diving turrets"...

Farm safely(you say) + Zoned away from farm under your own turret = Let turret die while you only managed to pick up what...6 cs before it fell?.

Playing "Safe" is not always easy in terms of...not dying, there are many ways to die if your opponent and their team is ballsy enough(coughturretdivefrombehindcough). 90% of the time, you sacrifice tons of cs while your opponent is free farming for days with tons of cs, that can probably amount to 2 kills. and they will come back stronger than you, and if your lucky, the game will get drawn out enough for you to actually be relevant in team fights...and if your unlucky..your junger will rage at you for taking camps to compensate, and be relevant later.

It all depends, but if you are stupid enough to be 0-3 by the 6 minute mark, trying to help you is a waste of time that could be better spent helping a lane who has brains. THATS why there is a mentality of ignore the losing lane. If jungle tries to help you it will end up with the jungler getting rekt by the people youve already decided to feed because you cant play passive for 5 minutes lol.

It's been the mentality for a long while now. I blame Ayn Rand and her philosophy of extreme selfishness. People only want to focus on one thing (killing champions) and everything else is an affront to that. The worst part is I don't even know how to begin to reverse the mindset. You can patch the game all you want, but you can't patch people.

Yesterday our Jungler Rengar was mostly farming all game. I was top Graves (because our bot decided to go Master Yi and I wanted to try out new Graves), and once I was done with my lane, i went to mid and bot in that order to help them out and smash their turrets. And just now, I finished a game as Jungle Zac. I didn't have much opportunity to help my allies, since they were stomping their lanes so hard, and though I secured two dragons before the enemy surrendered, I still felt like an accessory to the team.

Most are not so self-conscious.

There is no point in helping losing lane. Its better to help good lane get even more ahead, since they will be ones to carry game.

thats dumb if the lane is wining there is no point in helping them considering there WINNING an dont need the help if a lane is losing and has the potential to ruin your whole game cause its gonna be 4v5 and everyone at this point will focuse the fed carry and thus you lose the game point being people need to help the losing lane

This kind of thinking is part of the reason the bounty system changed this patch. Riot wants to make shutting down enemies on kill streaks more of a team effort, so they made the bounty gold spread out between all team members. Hopefully the team gold will incentivize shutdowns more and make the game less snowbally in the future.

Alasarcher's argument is the same reasoning I've heard in game when I asked the same question as you Captainn. Now here's the funny part-

in a lot of those types of matches, I come back and then have the best kd ratio on my team, most turrets destroyed, and most cs, but I still get blamed because I lost early game. Its like.. kids, if you actually cooperated and moved as a team, we wouldn't have lost in the first place.

Hate those types of people with the "abandon the lost lane" mentality.
