lol_Air_Client porblem with patching.

Does anyone know why everytime my client goes to patch I have to delete lol_air_client for it to patch? I have uninstalled League numerous times and reinstalled it and tried fix but it always comes down to having to delete that folder other wise I get stuck at 32% patch and then I get an error.

So instead of having to download a small patch I have to down 1gb + folder + the patch and it's really stupid. What's going on in lol_air_client that I have to delete it everytime? Last year I never had these problems but it seems over that last 10 or more patches I've had to do this.
