Why do people tell people they are good when they are not?

I see this all the time when you got people doing dumb stuff like farming minions while ignoring a fight going on they could help with literally a 1/2 inch off screen or right in front of them.. Then you say something about it and people are like don't mind him you are doing good.

No you're not... and telling someone they are doing great when they are clearly doing everything wrong is a bad way for someone to learn to get better. If I got told I was doing great every time I built wrong, rushed in and died for no reason or tried soloing a turret at level 2 why would I think anything I was doing was wrong?

I simple said don't farm minions when there is a fight going on right next to you making it a 2 vs2 instead of helping and making it a 3 vs 2 and all of a sudden i'm toxic and reported for pointing out something so completely obvious and being under mind by my own team and enemy team saying, don't worry what he says you are doing great.

What the hell is the point of trying to tell someone what not to do so they can learn from it if your whole team is going to babysit them and tell them what they are doing wrong is great? Then on top of it get reported for it because they can't handle the truth?

It's not like I said "OMG WTF ARE YOU DOING YOU SUCK DICK!" I simple said don't farm minions while there is a fight going on right by you that could help with .... But w/e I guess.. Instead of helping someone get better I'll just keep my mouth shut and let bronze players deal with them when they get there right? Seems like the logic to go by.

I'm sorry but if someone is doing something 100% wrong I'm going to let them know so they learn from it, I don't mind taking responsibility for myself and I don't mind people giving me tips that you can learn in every elo but if I'm going to get reported and probably eventually suspended for trying to help someone out then so be it.
