NEVER /ff@20
I think its stupid when people say they do it to not waste time going into a game just to call yourself out is wasting time...

I never really got the logic:
I assume you want to in the end win more than you lose. So... wouldn't it be way better for your Statistic to prevent losses, instead of taking a loss for free, going for another game, you aren't sure you'll win anyway? .-.
I can understand ff@20 IF its in normals. In ranked, where your actively trying to raise your rank, it doesn't make much sense to ff. But if you just playing normals and your aren't having fun and are just waiting for it to end (Such as all lanes getting stomped), then ff@20 could make sense. A lot of it can depend on context though.
I find this most annoying when the /ff comes as a result of someone making the same mistake over and over again. Raging tends to follow as well as team blame. When they insist they want to get on to the next game, I end up feeling like a bit of a jerk but I'll tell them "No, you need to learn from this game."
Unless it's ranked and actually winnable, I absolutely am annoyed on people who do not /ff at 20 on games that are obviously not winnable. Voting no is not going to make our midlaner or top turn into a functional human being. The 2/9 Yasuo and the 2/9 Quinn have those scores because they have made so many mistakes this game that they aren't going to come back. Check out their builds, they aren't even building the right things. They have MR boots even though no one on the enemy team does magic damage.
When you see that, and some guy is not going to /ff, it is agitating. If you quit at 20 min, it is still IP efficient. If you let the other team use their advantages to destroy the other lanes and put everyone on tilt, that's you being a dick. Just let it go. Either your mid/top are having a bad game and are not going to recover, or they got placed out of their league-- whatever the reason it's not going to change so let go please.
The problem is that people on this game are So full of THEMSELVES, that they dont care about anyone else. You have a Lane that is losing, maybe they are getting frequently ganked or making obvious mistakes...NO ONE HELPS. No one says "hey Bot lane is having problems, gonna help them out" or "that doesnt work, maybe you could try X" No. they are so full of thier own kda, thier own sense of self-superiority they feel it gives them right to point at the people who arent doing as good as them and go "OMG HAHA Bot lane u suck so bad, seriously, uninstall" or "Report bot lane for feeding" when they are clearly being outplayed. And when someone brings up a valid point, players will shut them down as if regurgitating thier own KDA back at them somehow discredits or invalidates any point they try and make. (Aka the "I win because you are 0/X/X or 1/X/X" )
But thats part of the problem. Players on this game do NOTHING to help players improve, NOTHING to give alternative means. and will instantly fire off the most hateful toxic flames instantly. They will find a mistake, latch on, shine a spotlight on it which will likely stress the player out and cause them to make MORE mistakes. This then gives the rest of the team Even MORE fuel to lay down even MORE flames, and by the end of it the entire game is "Nuked". By Nuked I mean there is so much toxic flames being tossed around some people just shut down and give up, Others blow up and start flaming back, ANY chance of teamwork drops down to 0% because the team hates each other and devolves into just a shouting match of "stfu u suck" and "you are trash because >insert KDA here<
And Yes part of the problem ARE the players who will instantly flame back at those who just want to help because they are so full of themselves that their first response is "STFU DONT TELL ME HOW TO PLAY" they think they are "gods gift to league and so think they know everything. But overall, It doesnt matter if its Normal or ranked. Some games get so Nuked from the toxic flames everyone is spewing there is no chance to win, the team turns radioactive and starts cannibalizing itself. At that point trying to force your team to play like a team (something it ceased to be when people started playing the "im superior to you because..." game) all you do is breed more hostility and hatred.
The biggest problem on this game is that people dont treat it like a team game, they dont care about the team, they dont WANT to work as a team. They see thier 'teammates' as 4 other players to talk down to, where a player can say "I have to carry these bronze scrubs" or "My trash team, I am so Op" Had a previous game where our jungler Constantly voted no on surrender, constantly trashed the team, would only jump in to take a kill and then run. At the end of the match (which ended in a loss) She had 18 kills and everyone else was negative. The point? she could have helped LEASH the kills, gave her team some of the kills, and they all could have made a comeback. But no. Jungler had to have THE MOST KILLS...or ALL the kills. (which is why I get so sick of people who call KS which to me comes off as "All kills are mine by default") And yet at the end of the match, all this jungler could do was sit there and rag on the team about how much they sucked, how Bad they were and the "Why did I have to get stuck with these bronzers?" self-superior attitude.
I am sure Alot more people would be less willing to FF @ 20 if they didnt have to sit there and listen to people bragging about how much "better I am than u scrubs" while these same players will take the kills, leave you to die. Then tell you how much you suck and how bad you are at the game because you dont have as many kills as THEM. Its a Team game, If all you care about is "Im so great, I have to have the most kills" then GTFO and go play Call of Duty with the rest of the entitled spoiled narcissistic brats.
I never surrender. Ever.
