2 week gifting wait

Why do I have to wait to spend my money or "RP" the way I want to. the gifting friend waiting time is bogus and needs to go.

Riot already removed the 2 week waiting period to gift someone. You only need to have someone on your friends list for 24 hours before you can gift them.

I believe their reasoning was so that someone who has hacked into your account can't just immediately gift one of their accounts using your RP.

First off they did shorten the time limit. like people have said its reasoning is clear. Also note that the time you are able to gift someone is on the dot of when they added you. So if they added you 1:30am Tuesday you wouldnt be able to gift them till after 1:30am Wednesday the next day exactly! Now there are other requirements but it usually ties in what exactly they are gifting. If you are trying to Mystery Gift they need to be able to receive 10 champions/skins. Im not sure if there are other requirements like if someone was ban, or anything like that. If the issue hasnt been resolved i would assume to contact Support since they will be much more helpful to you!

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR GIFTING TO FRIENDS?

The player receiving the gift needs to have been on your buddy list for at least one day.
The player receiving the gift cannot be banned or suspended (this includes LeaverBuster, Tribunal, etc).
The player sending the gift must be at least level 10.
