Summoner Profile Updates?

Are we ever going to get a different summoner profile picture? When you check someones profile, you will see an old man Zilean looking guy funneling energy into an orb. The only changes to this are when someone buys a legendary skin and uses the legendary icon, else it goes back to the standard old man zilean. Can we get a change to this, whether it be allowing us to keep the legendary profile picture without having to use the icon, or adding more pictures into the game that we can earn somehow (Champion mastery comes into mind here)

TL:DR I dont like seeing zilean anymore. Zilean

That's a 'Summoner', back when League was new - and people cared about the lore... that's basically you, the Summoner.

Yeah I got the feeling that's what that was, but it doesn't fit anymore. That was retconned a while back and now its just stale reminder. I really think there is potential for something here though, seeing as how many players are loaded with IP and are looking for anything including random name changes to get rid of them.
