AND THE WHOLE TIME I AM GETTING SHIT TALKED BY MY TEAM for starters a mid gp.... a lee who is new a shen with no map awareness and a TP in a gold 4 game with easy mmr? ........ can i get a moment to vent and not get shot for it? ive played sense the game was beta and i never got my skin for it and there are no transaction histories for me even being there. i talked constructive and the other side of the convo goes to a pritty much im trying to be better, well now im just going to make this lose on you for speaking up

Instead of removing me from play why not chat ban me for 14 days instead.

If someone is harassing you, don't sit there and make it worse by perpetuating an argument. Either ignore them or mute them.

If I had to listen to one person being toxic to someone, I'd ignore and report him. If that other person started talking shit back all game and being annoying, I'd mute and report both of them. It doesn't matter who started it, neither of them are right.

Plus, nobody cares how much money you've spent on the game. You can not buy special privileges to avoid punishment.

That looks like an awfully frustrating game. Sometimes that frustration can override your better judgement, and you end up doing something you regret. I'm pretty sure everyone here can relate. You made a mistake or two and got banned. So yeah, better you vent about it here than take more frustration into matchmade games.

A couple of things to keep in mind, though:

No circumstance excuses mouthing off in chat. That includes other people harassing you. Riot's expectation is that you mute and report players that are rude in chat, not that you join them.

I get that you try to be positive by giving useful tips, but when your teammates start to react with negativity, you should change strategies. When someone starts mouthing off to you, he is beyond tactical redemption. You need to shut that negativity down immediately by muting them - before their rudeness can influence your attitude.

As to why you got a 14-day ban instead of a chat restriction - I don't think anyone here can really answer that question. Personally, I agree with you. That chatlog is tepid, not good by ANY stretch of the imagination, but I don't think it's egregious enough to warrant a two-week ban. So yes, I think a chat restriction would've been more appropriate, unless there are additional disciplinary actions in your accounts history that triggered a harsher punishment. (And I'm not saying that's the case. I don't know you. It's just a theory.)

One more thing that I want to clarify: you are not above the rules. There are fifteen million daily active players, and nearly every one of them buys some RP. Maybe if you unlocked every champion with RP, bought every champion skin, every ward skin, and a dozen rune pages a few thousand times over - maybe then your financial contribution to Riot Games would warrant special consideration. (That said, If you are putting THAT kind of money into this game, know that I kowtow to you, call you "master", and humbly petition for the gift of a paltry million of your 70 trillion RP).

Arguing back with an aggressor only makes the situation worse.

I will say however, that this is probably one of the least (If not the least) toxic behavior I have seen and get a 14 day ban. That being said, I don't know of your previous behavior in games (If reports added up over time) or if you've faced previous punishments before.

If you haven't received any punishment in the past and you strongly feel that you haven't been, or are not a toxic player. Then I would submit a ticket to Riot Support regarding this because honestly... This isn't THAT bad. I see no extreme foul language, homophobic or racial slurs in your chat logs.

after reading all the comments i have to say i was in the wrong to even attempt to help those who fall off the deep end and ruin games and rank ladder, as for me posting how much ive spent i just wanted to let you in on why im even on here typing away , too much time love effort and money , too many friends (rito employes included ) and i do believe this was my first ban.... i vaguely remember a 12 hour ban in season 2 but sense then ive had ribbons come and go >.> and i usually never talk in chat i use ts/raid/curse/skype,

HEY guess what :D ontop of the 14 days i have a 19 game chat restriction yay. i would so love to have that perm and never have to talk and use my skill to keep me out of trouble.

wish a rioter would help me out on that im going to ask for support on this in a bit but i just wanted to fill everyone in on this, a dual punishment.....

You did not say anything ban worthy in the chat you listed.

You should however know when to continue speaking and when not to. In this case your talking was not helping the situation, sometime you just gotta let it go. Still, I have no clue why you received any punishment at all.
