Quick fix for Aatrox

Drop the revive on his passive (which sucks balls and anivia already does this) and buff his base stats. At the moment the dude (Aatrox) is so damn squishy you can't even fill up his damn blood well before his passive is popped and he comes back to die instantly a second time. His passive of gaining attack speed the more health he spends is ok. Note, he still needs a rework regardless.

The only reason he has the revive on his passive is because he will instantly die when he jumps in. It is circular logic to have him be squishy so his revive isn't overbearing and also to give him a revive because he is squishy. Aatrox is my favorite champion in the game and he is completely unplayable in his current state.

Or buff w base damages so it's worth putting points in the ability his kit revolves around instead of maxing the weakened Olaf q first.

as an aatrox main this post saddens me, you aren't supposed to jump in with an empty blood well, fill it up by spamming q to get around and e every once in a while too, and if you are squishy, you are building VERY wrong friend. don't buy too much attack speed, your passive and ulti are more than enough to be able to out sustain ANY tank in the game when you are below half HP.

If you're looking for a GOOD build for top and still enjoy your damage, try this item 3074 item 3046 item 3047 item 3156 item 3065 item 3143 If you aren't doing so hot, play even tankier item 3748 item 3046 item 3065 item 3143 item 3047 item 3156 or item 3742 but since you seem rather stubborn by repeating how bad his passive is, id assume you build this instead item 3153 item 3074 item 3072 item 3006 item 3812 item 3124 .

and keep in mind, your blood well stack up with how much hp you use on your spells, so by getting more hp, you spend more hp on your spells since they scale % hp, you can stack it up faster, so even a q... q r e can fully stack it (ult gives 20% PER CHAMP YOU HIT) even a single perfect ulti can fully stack your passive.

Anyways enough rambling, my point is that YES he IS rather weak right now, not saying he isn't, but please know that a good aatrox can play him with a lot of success. :) anyways good luck on the rift friend

I have a half-rework plan for him...

2.5) Aatrox Rework- Passive- change so damage on enemies charges blood well. Change so that portion of his health cost is either filled in blood well or is returned to him. Change so his resurrection healing is based on his max health and scales off his level. Also, change so his health cost is replaced with blood well cost when in full/more than half health. Q- First cast- flies up to the air, being untargetable for a short time. Second cast- dashes to the target area and slams the ground upon impact, dealing physical damage and knocking all enemies up. Enemies on the center deal 2x damage (or increased, whatever.) and knockup duration is increased. W- Not much change, except that he gets bonus CDR when lifesteal/extra damage (or make it a big healing and make it a cd ability) E- changes his sword to a whip, making his next basic attack deal max health % damage. If it its an enemy champion, it will bleed and charge up his blood well. Aatrox can deal bonus magic damage, slows them, and has increased range on bleeding targets (NEED ADJUSTMENT) R- Can cast only when enemies are in range (like Kata's ult). Now deals max health % magic damage. All enemies hit will now bleed and will take dot damage if they move within a radius centering him. While active, he gains life steal/shield (just like Bloodthirster, so any extra life steal would be converted as a shield until a max point)
