If sona were a mage?

Sometimes I think to myself, you as a support sona I feel really useless late game. So I tried Full AP + sightstone and though hey this works pretty well. Then i moved to sona mid/top and i thought "Wouldn't be great if sona was a mage?" becasue I think most her usefulness is the amount of poke/damage she can do in lane while the heal and speed buff compilment the damage parts of her kit. The problem is sona does too much damage for a support so riot keeps nerfing her but not enought to be a viable mid. Sona will never find a good spot in LoL simply because of the way riot made her kit. So if sona were a mage i'd have her kit look a little like this, if anyone else had a good idea im just brainstorming, not like any riot employee will read this or anyting anyway -.- Q - well her Q is something that I would keep the same or close the same except maybe enable to buff lane minions for pushing lanes better. W- okay, I would change it to a skill shot very similar to karma's Q. when the green beamy thing (idk what else to call it) hit an enemy champion does % health magic damage and sona heals depending on how much magic damage is done. Afterwards a field (aura?) of sound is created (roughly the size of a cassiopeia w) enemies standing on this have mr and armor lower and hp is slowely drained. The aura field afterwards would last maybe around 3-4 seconds? this would also serve as wave clear. E- Sound waves shoot out from sona. (in a circles around sona) slowing enemies around her by 20% on the way out then the sound waves return to sona and slow enemes 40% on the way in. Does magic damage on the way out and in. R- pretty much the same - each rank increases the E slow, W health restored (on the initial target) and damage. passive - probably the same? Anyway basically what i tried to make sona a mage XD while doing my best to still keep her Aura champion identity. But instead of buffing your allies you debuff the enemies and set kill for yourself. Also this would bring her skill cap up a little? anyway I'm still thinking about what to do about the Q.....anyway thanks for reading!
