Aida, The corpse Puppeteer

In a small Ionian village lived young girl Aida DesJardins. As a young girl she lived a happy life with her mother and father. One day a tragedy struck the happy family, Aida’s father fell ill and died. This devastated the young girl and deeply disturbed her. As she grew older she appeared to be a young beautiful and mature young lady. Although after her father died she had often spend time alone by the her father’s grave. She missed her father, She believed the warmth of her family had left with her father and now she wa filled to the brim with sadness despite her popularity amongst the villagers. Her mother after her father died also began to die from a broken hearts. It was not too soon before Aida started to dip her hand into magic and practiced preserving bodies of animals and turning them into toys. Soon her mother death was close at hand. After death, Aida stole her mother's body and turned it into her first corpse puppet. Aida moved this puppet by pulsing magic though the corpse from strings attached to her hands. She made her mother treat her as if she were alive. But soon enough she wanted more, she wanted her father back. She decided to build another corpse puppet in the image of her father. She soon when out at night after funerals to pick up bodies parts forms those buried there. She finally had her family back. She wanted more puppets to joins her, she soon began build puppets for friends.

Aida social status had been diminished. As she had been creating her corpse puppets she hadn’t approached anyone for months. Soon people began to worry about. They began to worry about the young girl living alone for so long. Some speculated she was dead. They began to check up on her and she would come to the door with a pleasant smile but never let them inside. One day a young boy came to visit her and snuck into her house to surprise her. But soon he found a gruesome sight. He found body part strewn about the house. Mortified he ran for the door when a woman stepped in front of him. Her eyes her lifeless like a puppet. She woman reached down and strangled the boy. Aida soon realized she couldn’t control her powers without harming other. One night she fled to a place where her and puppets would be accepted, The league of legends.

"The dead are just toys to play with!!" - Aida

**Abilities: Corpse Puppets ** Each time a champion is slain by Aida she receives a stack of Puppets reducing the cooldown of her abilities by 2%. This ability stacks up to ten times

(Q) Puppet of Fear (This puppet will be her mother Quote, "Mommy Help me!!!")

Aida sends out a puppet and fears enemies in range for a short period of times. This Puppets stay for a short period of time and attacks an enemy unit or champion until slain or the time runs out.

(W) Explosive Puppet (This puppet will be her father, Quote "Protect me Daddy!!!")

Aida selects an enemy unit or champion and sends out a puppet which continues to follow until within range then explodes or explodes when the timer is up and dealing magic damages all enemies units in the area.

(E)Strings of the dead

Aida targets enemy unit and sends string though them and hit a target behind them. If there are two units behind target the strings will split (The same target cannot be hit twice) This keep going unit there is no target within range. The more enemy units hit the greater the damage to the next target. (much like Sivir 's ricochet and MissFortune 's double combined)

(R)Corpse Reanimation

Aida becomes invulnerable and creates a puppet (by channeling for a couple seconds) of a selected champion. The player can control that champion as if they were playing them for a short period of time. (They use that champions abilities but her stats remain the same) (Aida can use all abilities that the selected champion can until the time runs out)

Allies : Karthus Mordekaiser

My thoughts:

  • Passive: 10% CDR after killing 5 enemy champions?... Seems weak and impractical. Could be wrong. Passive could be better executed for a puppeteer.
  • Q: Looks okay
  • W: Seems like Elise's Volatile Spiderling
  • E: Seems like Cho'Gath's Feral Scream
  • R: Seems like Mordekaiser's Children of the Grave

This champion does not really have an identity and seems too much like other champions. I really want to get the feeling for a puppeteer who isn't a collection of other champions.

lil concept for the passive instead make it to where when an enemy unit nearby dies it's corpse becomes a puppet (does not apply for champs)and said puppet only lasts 10 secs but adele is able to cast spells from its position for instance if u wanted to Q ud hit alt+Q also its stats stay the same but at level 5/10/15/18 it gains some kind of buff maybe like additional armor or something and the effect can only hapen like once ever 30/25/20/15 secs

Oooh, I like the R... for how long would the duration last? I think that I brought that up as an idea for an ult on another community created puppeteer champ post (Champ was Nicodemus http://community.na.leagueoflegends.com/c/fancreations/d3Q7Wwa3-nicodemus-the-dark-puppeteer) - it seems quite natural to me.

It would be really cool if Nico and Adele were a thing. But maybe thats just the Korean Soap Opera addict in me talking.

How rad is it though that there are enough champs in this section i can start shipping on them?

Maybe for the e instead of being a cone it's a targeted ability tht then jumps to other champions doing less dmg and silencing for a shorter amount, something like varus ult, gives it more of the enchanted/demon string feel. Passive is nice but relies too heavily on kills, maybe upon doing dmg to an enemy championn her cd's are reduced by 1, cd on this ability is 5 secs, w i think i agree that it needs to be tweaked a litle not sure how though, maybe a targeted ability where she throws a puppet

Edit: Maybe you can ult a champ corpse hard to code but would deff give her a different feel, then morde, and i would go last 30 secs- minute going 15 sec with each lvl, especially if it just turns it into an ai champ, or maybe have it to were you take over the champ abilities and all starting 10 secs going up to 30 and you can attack enemies with the champion and their abilities friendly or enemy champs, all while Adele stays in the back pulling the strings, definitely giving the Puppet master feel.

Okay guys I'm really trying to make sound unique. I changed her w to a targeted ability. I changed her e again to something a little more original. It's more of a wave clear and poke because I realized she didn't have much. The splash is coming slow (sorry!!) but I'll post it on the forums once it's done. And btw CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME WITH HER SCALING AND COOLDOWN!!!!

Ikecus, I looked at your champion and I think it's pretty cool! The ult looks a little op so I was thinking you could change it to "Patchwork Corpse" or something where she channels for like 2 seconds building up a puppet of the selected champion out of different parts of other corpses. Aida then does something like Elise's repel and can control the puppet for 10 seconds or so. The more dead champions around Aida while she's channeling, the stronger the puppet because she has a better selection of limbs. After the 10 seconds, or after the puppet dies she comes back down and is invisible for 1 second. Just an idea I rly like ur design though.

It's an interesting idea, I always thought some puppeteer champion could be really cool, but I think the abilities kit needs to be redesigned; it sounds too much like Yorick or Mordekaiser.
