How do we know when our key rate will restart?

I get that they get rarer over time. But, I have no gotten a single key fragment since my last chest, which was a long time ago. I'm not sitting on 3 chests without a single key fragment.

I'm not complaining at the lack of keys, I just want to know how we know when our rate is going to reset. I need a lot of orange stuff to make use of this sexy Gentleman Cho skin I have sitting in my inventory.

It happens once a month. Since the system started on like the 6th or 7th (IIRC), that is when the reset happens. This is assuming it isn't different for brand new accounts. I just know I get almost all my key fragments in the 2nd week of the month.
