Can you make smite available sooner?

My teammates rage at me and call me troll when I have to duo top because I cannot jungle. I would love to learn, but simply cannot since I do not have access to smite.

Honestly you wouldn't be able to jungle very well regardless at lower levels because of the lack of runes and masteries available at those levels.

the jungle is really tough without tier 3 runes and most masteries, it's not impossible but it's definitely hard. you pretty much need to be a tanky jungler or someone with good early sustain to not die immediately. getting help early will be helpful but you can't really expect your teammates to help you clear everything early game.

I agree. The scaling runes are good for JG mains. The mastery setup for a JG can be touch and go based on the champ you intend to use...and if you're a cheeseball like most JG's Alistar Jax MasterYi Shyvana Warwick I usually see those 5 as JG...oh and the ultimate cheeser for JG XinZhao

Xin's self sustain is ridiculous...but viable, and ganking with him before he can Proc, yea. Ultimate Cheese.

Warwick definitely is.

I had a new to MOBA friend run Warwick jungle and he did fine against the monsters pre-20 (and without any t1/t2 runes). He sustains so much that it makes up for the lack of runes and complete masteries.

I can't see Yi or Jax doing that level 1 without extensive leashes, and they'd still suffer until they got big enough. Shyvana could maybe do it, though.

the game auto-detects smurf acccounts and matches them with other smurf accounts and/or higher level accounts. unless you are just a godlike newb, you should be matched with people having similar issues.

I don't really agree, there are MANY junglers who can do just fine even without Runes and Masteries.

Maybe he could do it with Fiddle or WW, but thats about it. Unless its a jungler with very good sustain he wont survive early due to the lack of masteries and runes.

You can jungle just fine with no runes or masteries and no kiting skills, just your pool is extremely limited ( Fiddlesticks Warwick , Udyr , and maybe Shaco ?)

In any case, the level gating on runes, masteries, and spells is stupid. All runes, masteries, and spells should be availible at level 1, and Tier 1/2 runes should be FREE. Also we need a tutorial to TEACH how important runes are, how to structure a mastery page, and a jungling and supporting tutorial.

The only way someone would be mad at you at this point is if they're smurfs. Which means they only want the false satisfaction of winning a match even though they only won against new players. Which means that they're tryhards. Which means that you really shouldn't give them the time of day in the first place, and lol at them for being that pathetic to rage at someone who is new at the game and doesn't have access to things like smite yet.

You do you, and not every game has to have a jungler anyways, especially in the early levels.

Just mute your team if they do that, pre level 30 you shouldn't need to worry about jungling, if it was that important one of them could take the role and give you top. As an alternative you could consider a roaming playstyle, you don't farm jungle camps, just go from lane to lane and gank as much as possible, tax lanes afterwards so you have some farm to work with. That attitude is literally what creates those kinds of players. That chip on your shoulder you have now, thinking you are better than these ragers, is going to turn into stupid ego over time, and eventually you're going to be no better than anyone else. Start muting players now, and stop putting yourself on a pedestal because it will come full circle if you allow it.

Honestly I suggest you always play with friends if you are a new players. The low level games right now is full of "smurf"s who sucked at ranked and trying to bully new players, and they are extremely toxic. **constantly **dealing with them is really frustrating.

My friend that got me into this game was ranked Diamond last year. He said that's really good and he can't play with me because I will have to play against really good players. I think he underestimates my skill level, though >;)

Nunu Warwick and Master Yi can all clear without smite, and they're all 450. But you shouldn't worry about it for now, your clear speed is still going to be awful and most people at your level can't survive solo against a duo top. You've got a lot to learn, just take it slow.

With Warwick you can start jungling from lvl10 but it's not very efficient during the first few mins of the game. Besides, chances are the solo top laner will feed bcause they are new at the game, so just go duo top.

You can't jungle without tier 3 armor runes, which are not available until level 20. Because every jungler HAS those runes, Riot has to tune the monster damage around you having them equipped, and then if you want to try something different you get punished hard.

If Riot made Smite available at level 1, I would be happy, but they would need to completely remove the rune system to do so (which they should, it's mandatory stats and not customization at all)

Down to individual players. Nerfplz has a tier list. Just google "nerfplz lol tier list" to get the list. I play a lot of Diana jungle and she is very strong, but she does need need smite early on and a set rune page to survive the first clear.

def neeeds smite, but ive used like 5 dif runepages on diana and they all gave me a full clear. she could probably do it with half a page of tier 2 attack speed/armor/AP

Also needs to take w first and not q. I forgot to add that in my original reply. It also matters if you take machete first or talisman. I haven't decided which is truly better, but I can clear faster with machete.

Back in season 4 you could jungle at level 3 easily with a champ like Warwick, and smite was available at level 2 or 3. They made early clears a lot harder in season 5 though.
