Afking shouldnt be bannable or punishable

since everyone seems to do it and only a few get cherry picked to actually get punished

i think we should be allowed to afk when someone else does

regardless im going to anyway, sure you can win a 4v5 but its a struggle and the other team has to fk up or you wont win

drop 20-40+ mins on a game 4v5? nah, rather just leave

call me a dick and say i ruined the game idc, in my mind i didnt, the first ruined the game and leaving second i see as not wasting time rather than "ruining" an already "ruined" game

Fix your punishment system riot so i wont have to leave every other game cuz someone wants to afk

Just...Leaverbuster gonna get ya. You won't ruin THAT many games before you get put into 20-minute low-priority queue.

But yeah on the subject of how 4v5's are treated - I really think we need a feature to end those games early. They're occasionally winnable, but those circumstances are so few and far between. Surrender timers need to adjust for how many people are connected, at the very least.

i think AFK'er need some type of harsher punishment, this is a team game, and having even one person leave (unless the reason is personal) is just not fun! Really unless its something out of your control, eg Riot Servers, Bug Splat, any type of error that makes it unable for you to get into the game, you have absolutely no reason to leave your games. if you got personal problems thats understandable, but if its that serious that you need to always leave your games you probably shouldnt be playing, or play modes that doesnt require an hour. like ARAM, or bots!

Well it should be punishable yeah, but not in every circumstance. I don't think going AFK in a 4v5 should be punishable at all. AFKing is already viewed as the worst possible thing in the game. I've had teammates tell me to kill myself, but if I AFK in response I'm suddenly the bad guy who gets 9 reports while my extremely toxic teammate gets off the hook.

I've been in games where its a 4v5 and the enemy team is up lets say 25-2 at the 15 minute mark. In those games I'll be like ok I'm going AFK for 5 minutes until 20. Just doing that though lands you in a low priority que and gets you reported. The system definitely needs work.
