League of Legends City Rec and playing on a desktop

As someone who loves league and has been playing for nearly five years now, I love that League is trying new things to get players together and having fun. I personally think that the LoL City Rec through Super League Gaming is really cool. But, as someone who games exclusively on a desktop, it makes me very sad that I am excluded from cool events like this. I hope that Riot has more new things planned in the future to bring us League players together for cool, non-esports events that will be more inclusive to what is probably a gigantic portion of their player base (those of us who don't play on laptops).
