If you ever complain about "winning lane, losing game" you need to take stock of what you're doing in game. Just because you run Darius top lane and dump on a Jax, if you spend the rest of the game just continuing to 1v1 that Jax and not taking objectives or roaming or helping your team then that lead is worthless. A lead in lane is useless unless you can find a way to transfer that lead to the rest of your team. Get teleport flanks, be a split pushing threat, or be a monster in teamfights. Just because you won a 1v1 matchup in laning phase does in no way mean you deserve to win that game. Transfer that lead to the rest of your team and then you can win.

I think the only time I say that is when my bot lane gets dumpstered before I can even make an impact when I play top.

i've seen a fair share of that when i've played norms... people that think being fed means they're carrying

**Sure, using your advantage to make a meaningful impact in the game is important, but I think you're missing the point of the quote. "Winning Lane, Losing Game" is more about the players that have such a difficult time in the early portions of the game, they wind up losing it for you. **

I agree, a lot of "young" or "inexperienced" player often times think because they won their lane in the early game that it means they are going to carry. The truth is, Rift is a 5 person effort, you may be the Lebron James of your team, but your going to need your Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love if you wanna win.
