Ranked Teams vs Solo Q

My friends and I have a Ranked team that is not ranked yet but we were planning on playing to get the team ranked. But at the same time, i personally not ranked in Solo Q.

My issue is, does this Ranked team also place me in Solo ranked or doesnt it have any affect on me and ranked in Solo? Because I didnt want to do ranked in solo until November when the new season started.

I know this is a silly question only new people would ask but I have played this game for a while but just never wanted to do ranked until now.
