The Pool Party minions should have came with the event in the first place not have to be rewarded. Not nearly as fun if you get the Pool Party minions after the event has already ended...

Well this was more of a "pre-Pool Party Event", as the skins will be released later at the same time as the minions and other rewards. So think of this week as the preparation event for the upcoming Pool Party. :)

I don't think they would've made the pool party minions unless it was known that we would get to them anyway, no way they would make them just to have the development time go to waste

I think it would have been amazing when All-for-one came back if everyone had pool party Mundo. That special moment won't be likely to happen without unlocking the skin now.

it would only be special if the skin was rewarded for the event, and wasn't sold at all.

if we reached the goal for the mundo skin, EVERYONE would get one who wasn't toxic during this season. that's a lot unspecial. in fact, I would say it would make it a whole lot more special if it was rewarded but not sold.

No we still get a mystery champion or skin if you have them all, so in theory since the skins would be given out after the patch where the pool party skins are live he could get it.

He is asking what happens if riot hands out pool party mundo for free but before or during the gifting out of the skin he gets pool party mundo from the mystery skin as well. This can not happen if the pool party skin goal isn't reach making his question irreverent for god sake do you guys need me to draw a detailed step by step on why it doesn't mater if the goal isn't reached.

They're complaining bc this competition was setup in a way that we would only get Mundo if a shit-ton of people gifted..

The competition was more of a way for Riot to make money and less of a means of connecting the community. Yea, they offered some points for the 5man that wins.. but gifting had the main share of "point real-estate."

Why does that matter? It is completely irrelevant. You literally have 0 right to complain. You didn't have to gift anything and you could easily get rewards with minimal effort. Complaining about stuff like that makes you come across as entitled

It is irrelevant how Riot set up the competition. Mundo was clearly suppose to be hard to get and Riot has to make money. So them setting up a way for them to make money is fine. Yes complaining is protected under the first amendment. However when you complain about a free event and tie in your complaints to not getting the grand prize even though it is suppose to be difficult to get does make you entitled. It makes your entire premise come across as trying to get something that, according to the rules Riot set down, you didn't deserve. Literally what entitlement is. Feeling like you deserved something that you actually don't.

Going through the trouble of playing in a full group and then playing is working for it. It takes time+effort, so it's not free. Just because cash isn't involved doesn't mean it was given out for free. It actually takes more time and effort to get the skin without paying cash for it than to just go out and basically work for 1 single hour to afford it.
