Does league need in game chat anymore?

14 day ban for my entire team claiming i was toxic for all that they were saying. Riot. I have a suggestion. If someone is going to get sent a ban for something they said. Don't let it be from a player or players that were far worse than anything the individual getting banned said. Yea? No? ok. Seriously what sense does it make if two people go into a room person A says what's wrong and person B says person A is fucking ugly. "A" responds with "B" not looking that great either then after a long argument person B reports person A and person A gets kicked out of class. Should there even be a chat system on league of legends? What's the purpose of it cause if anything pinging and after game chat is all is really needed now. just mute everyone. there's no point in in game chat now. there really isn't. Over 2k games and i'm just sick of the logic in league of legends.

I actually use the chat alot when im try harding. And I know I'd definitely be the minority, but as a jungler when im walking around I type out very specific details about my path or where the enemy jungler is at so it will be much clearer than pings for anyone on my team who happens to read it. I do however wish they'd add it so you can see who has you muted, just because I know alot of players use mute all and I've occassionally tried to set up ganks for top lanes who obviously werent seeing what I was typing lol.

League needs to join modern times and add voice chat.

Text chat is cancer. I'm a firm believer that typing to chat just makes people more tilted, they pay attention less to the actual game, etc etc.

Hell, even civil conversation via chat is bad at the end of the day because of the time and energy spent doing it.
