300k Kat points should get you a golden keyboard at best. Faceroll in style as you watch salty opponents cry in all chat while petting the cat you have in your lap like a classic James Bond villain.

Frankly you have a lot of kit that is REALLY good and will be good forever or if they decide to rework her. You don't have mana. You scale with AP and AD, so get AP items of course You have a flash in your kit Your Q can be used for farming and even for poking at the enemy laner through the minion wave and a passive that resets your Q,W,and E and decreases the CD on your R by 15 secs upon kill.

Granted that she isn't nearly as broken and annoying as she used to be, these are just things about her kit that just make her good no matter what. If you get counter picked then play safe and farm under tower as much as you can and see if you can sneak to bot or top for a kill or two, at that point you are ahead.

KIT =/= state of balance. Kata beginners do have a 40% winrate - experienced Kata players have a 54% winrate. That means there is a 14% winrate difference between unexperienced and experienced summoners. That's actually really huge and proves that Kata is definetely not an easy faceroll champion.

I'm not saying that kit is the only thing that equals a state of balance, but a champions kit is EXTREMELY important in determining their power and effectiveness in their role. If anything, I feel that this 14% gap in winrates PROVES what I just said, because while Katarina has a great kit, the most difficult part of her is USING the kit effectively, and less experienced players have a 40% winrate, which isn't that bad, and more experienced players have a 54% winrate. Now I'm not pointing fingers but I do recall hearing a lot of people complain about Thresh because his winrate is above 50%. I'm not saying that Katarina is OP, but I think it's a little much to say that she is under-powered.

Also, look back at my original comment. No where did I say that she was an easy faceroll champion. I was merely pointing out that she has a lot of utility to her kit that makes her playable in almost any setting if you can use her right

Actually it is that bad. There are only very few champions who have such a bad winrate - even on inexperienced players.

That is a statement I agree with. However, as you replied to Pentarina Only who said that Kata takes skill and you seemed to generally disagree with him I thought you'd also disagree with her not taking skill. But if that's wrong, then we all agree on this matter and can be happy about that.

I don't see people whining about Azir at all. However, he is still really strong at professional level which is also the only reason why he got nerfed so often.

he didn't get nerfed cause he was too strong at the professional level. They nerfed him cause he was too strong at EVERY level. Trust me back when I just started getting into Lol I picked this guy up and went into a PVP and got a triple laning against a zed if I recall correctly. He was way too OP at all levels. Still the nerfs that they gave him I feel were unfair and they didn't even fix his bugs.

But yeah playing kat with anything but a huge lead takes a pretty huge amount of observational skill and it can be really hard to keep a level enough head to pull it off. Keeping track of your resets is an entire extra level to it, but again if you are fed, you dont really need to think hard about CD bc u just get full resets by the time ur done keying your combo.

Custom skins. You can undo any splash update. I even gave Graves his cigar back :P

How do you farm with Kat? I find it extremely difficult to CS early game with her abilities (and being melee doesn't help either)

lol, play some customs game, its not hard

q+w is good for wave clear, if you practice you'll see how much damage this combo does to minions and makes farming more natural

if you're going to farm using AutoAttack, you can left click on the minion to see its current health and wait when its low enough so you can just use 1 AA to kill him, you can also turn off the autoattack option in the menu (in the last tab) so you can position your champ next to dying minion without automatically AAing when its full health

i had to do these steps with Akali , people always say you dont need to farm cs, just farm champs.... dont do that, always farm both, if you stop csing you'll make yourself snowball less than you could be, and you can make yourself fall behind

Just going to give you my opinion. If you really want to learn her I would just look it up on Youtube.

Well the champions I cannot beat in lane are Malzahar , Yasuo , Diana , and Lux . Rush item 3140 against zed and you honestly should have no problem beating him. The items I build: http://i.imgur.com/TJjAoWA.png

the situation for this item is when the enemy team have like 2 or 3 tanks?

item 3136 isn't a good item to buy on Katarina it gives very little AP, which needs a lot of to snowball.

QSS Against Zed? I mean I can see it for the early game, but Katarina has the Luxury of being a manaless champion who can rush item 3157 with no drawbacks. I usually start item 1029 and 4 item 2003 against really any AD mid assassin, and go to item 3191 and 's from there. Of course I'm not the Kat main here you are, just on the off chance I do play her that's what I build.

Because item 3157 is expensive as holy hell to buy. Rush QSS first then when you can get . That's what I do.

I suppose if you like playing aggressive against Zed item 3140 is the smarter buy. Me however, tend to just avoid 1v1ing Zed all together during laning because his 1v1 is so much better than Katarina (unless you get a full ultimate on him, and are able to his ult). Just be careful though because gives no armor, and his AA's and passive are going to shred right through you if he gets a full W-E-Q-W-AA combo on you.
