AFK behavior and lower priority que? WTF is that about?

I dc'd from my second game of the night and got back in about 5 minutes later. Had some internet issues, happens. I played my first game with no issues, and even carried the game. Why am I being punished if I came back and finished the game five minutes later?

It says for 5 matchmade games I'm placed in a lower priority que. Does this mean that I'm going to be with feeders in ranked? Or trolls? I don't understand.

Great job, Riot. Nidalee is running rampant but you can make sure to fuck me over.

It means that you have to sit through the timer (and actually watch it count down) if you want to play.

Timer can range from 5 minutes to 30 for minor offenses. I had a string of mild afks due to time mismanagement and had to deal with 5 minutes. My friend did who knows what and dealt with 30. I would believe it if it went higher.

yeah im at 5 minutes. still dont understand why one game that i afked from (and came back to minutes later) put me in this 'dog house'

Since the new Leaverbuster was released, I've been dropped from 4 games. One of them was last night - the other, just the night before. I still haven't received an LPQ.

So I hope you'll forgive my assumption that it's unlikely that was the only afk on your account.

Lyte has specifically stated that having that the Leaverbuster system catches afks and leaves that aren't displayed in post-game or Match History.

So, your Match History wouldn't show much, except that you weren't marked as a Leaver in your Match History. It wouldn't indicate anything about whether or not you were actively connected and participating in those matches - there's a lot of ways to fool your history, but far fewer to actually trick LB.

But I'm not getting placed with lower MMR people or anything silly, correct? I just don't want to be with people who are intentional feeds/afks/trolls or worse... a duo bot lane.

Problem with this is you only need to d/c from 2-3 games total to have this applied to you and riots servers are complete garbage. i havnt had this yet but i can totally see there being players out there whom are victims of riots mediocre servers with timers now..
