I just went through a game, which, despite having a player who tried throwing the game for the others, we won. Now, post game, he lies and tells the people I was in game the previous match that I was "talking s***" about them so they reported me. Am I the only one who thinks this kind of thing shouldn't be allowed? I know most unranked through bronze premade groups are toxic and flame others, but reporting with no just cause shouldn't be allowed and should be taken seriously.

Which means their reports are less meaningful to the system, which makes it harder for them to even get a case built against you (unless those false reports are backed up by valid ones).
And even if you do have a case built against you, unless you're actually breaking the Summoner's Code, it's extremely unlikely you'll ever know it happened (because the case will be Pardoned).
In short, OP: it's not worth your worry. There are systems in place to account for false reports, and it's even possible for players who do so enough to be banned.
