Whats your best "advice about league that sounds like Good advice but is actually terrible"?
For example
"Buy two boots, so you can go faster"
"Pick riven into nasus, youll be able to bully him for the entire game"
etcc...

Don't buy any swords on marksmen, they generally use ranged weapons and blades would encumber them.
Taric's armor aura is useful.
Yorick is fun to play and play against, use him as a Nasus counter
BUILD CRIT CHANCE ON FIDDLESTICKS TO MAKE HIM EVEN MORE OP. (Me and 4 other firends actually did this with 4 other champs such as Nasus, Garen, Nami, and Soraka and pubstomped them. It is not viable until 100% crit LOL)
Ranked is the most competitive queue type in this game, and so it will put you against the best people possible. Play it as soon as you hit level 30, so that you improve the fastest.
Play heimerdinger.
wards are a waste of gold because buying them delays your damage.
rush damage and you will kill people faster
