I just want to clarify something.

There are people who say that this game is a strategical based game. This is false this is a tactical game. What you use in game are tactics not strategies.

I'm confused? They are the same thing

Tactics - an action or strategy carefully planned to achieve a specific end

synonyms: strategy · scheme · stratagem · plan · maneuver · method

So lets say I want to get to Diamond. I would consider that a long term goal (or strategy). and to go about that my tactic would be to win games (short term goal)?

That works but you can break it down to in game to like tactically getting five dragons(each dragon would also be a tactic and 5 dragons a strategy) to push in enemy base you use a tactic to achieve a strategy so many different viewpoints it's hard to be wrong lol

Okay Let me explain it a proper way. Strategy lays out the goals and ideas for achieving those goals. Strategy can be to some nature a complex multi-layered plan for accomplishing objectives and may give consideration to tactics. Tactics are the meat and bread of the strategy. They are the “doing” aspect that follows the planning. Tactics refer specifically to** action.** In the strategy phase of a plan, the thinkers decide how to achieve their goals. In other words they think about how people will act, in other words their tactics. They decide on what methods will be employed to fulfill the plan.

In this game the overall strategy is to capture the nexus and win. The means to fulfill this goal are what I would refer to as tactics. Tactics i.e action required to accomplish the ultimate goal.
