I'm sorry but age is truly an factor during online play

Most adults understand the fundamentals of this game + others. (tera online,, overwatch etc. Most adults tend to give off the best performances on their best champions Most adults don't like dying or getting killed so easily. (I understand we have those off days- or we are just generally bored aginst playing with kids we don't put are all into it)

When I see a person give me the I'm 35 yrs old lecture, I'm like ok... (not a chance based on his/her build or knowledge about the game as a whole) When your 35+ tactically why are you still playing games, i don't see the need to brag if that's the truth, i see depression behind those computers screens from those lads)

Given or take if your playing that age card like I'm usually am since the majority i'm facing kids( only cause of my MMR int he beginning. You can easily tell who's good and knowledgeable and who's needs work.

Yet utilize the practice tool it will help, heck i kept making failed flashes, so i needed to practice those, we aren't all perfect, but adults aren't usually dumb when they know their capabilities of the game they are playing.

I'm 28 btw so relax or disagree and give a valid reason about this post.

When your 35+ tactically why are you still playing games,

Games are fun. As sheldonbunny said, since it doesn't have major physical dependencies, there's little reason not to.

adults aren't usually dumb when they know their capabilities of the game they are playing.

I suspect this based off availability heuristic and confirmation bias. I personally know many adults that might seem well-adapted otherwise (stable job, stable romantic relationship, but are truly terrible at self-analysis in video games.

When your 35+ tactically why are you still playing games, i don't see the need to brag if that's the truth, i see depression behind those computers screens from those lads)

and

I said i wouldn't be gaming that much when i reach 30+ because I'll living out my days working in the field i enjoy, hopefully with an wife and kids before i'm 40.

Those aren't really contradictory, but they are a pretty strong value statement. You know why you want a wife and kids and want to work in a job you enjoy? Because society told you to. You could also just work really hard now and save money and retire by the time you're 40 (or perhaps you can't now, but you could have if you made other life choices). You could be happy if you never got married. You could be happy if you never had kids (whether with a wife, girlfriend, one night stand accident, or adoption). But society wants you to work a lot, get married, and have kids. Because society does better when there's more economic output and more baby making.

I mean, making society happy is important in some places. There are lots of closeted gay people out there that stay closeted, marry someone of the opposite sex, and have kids, all because it's what society wants. For many of them, that probably does make them happier than coming out as gay (and dealing with the potentially life-threatening fallout, depending on where they live). But if you live in a country where societal acceptances is less important, then analyzing why you want to work so much you can't play games might make you happier in the long run.

Except when I will be 34 later this year and have mentioned it in game when against truly obnoxious children. Blame the parent in me. :P

There's nothing brag worthy about age, except the fact you haven't died yet. The idea is the maturity comes with life experience. It's idealistic but overall seems to pan out. Then you have the 40/50/60+ year olds who just never grow up.

**And now that I'm finished with the game I was in, I can flesh out this response better with an edit. **

For starters, at 28 I had hoped your grammar would have been a bit better. It's you're, btw. You're welcome.

That out of the way, I'm having a bit of trouble following your full logic, so if i'm misunderstanding any points, please let me know. If your claim is that at age 35 a person's hobbies shouldn't be gaming, that's a bit of a stretch. Any interest a person can have can go from cradle to grave. Except something truly physically strenuous to the body, most are quite normal at any age. And even then, it's a person to person basis due to personal health, etc.

Next, the oddball comment about depression. Given the extremely broad spectrum of depression, again it's a massive stretch. It seems more a backhanded (and quite frank immature) over simplification of people's actions.

And last, but certainly not least, many have shunned the new client, myself included, so we'll not be accessing the practice tool until the new client is completely live in all regions.

But please, do continue with telling all of us adults who we are, what we are, and how we're feeling. It's quite amusing.

I forgot where I saw it, there was a Riot survey data, indicates adults do have better communication and less toxicity, but not by a huge margin. Performance wise isn't that different.

There's not much point in the age argument, since you have to observe their performance and behavior first, then assume their age based on that. At this point there's no added benefit. You are already judging people by how they act, their age becomes irrelevant.

Aren't we just behind computers?

All adults have a threshold of when enough is enough & most of us just leave(quitting the game) Why stay with children when they obviously they don't want to learn or accept that he/she needs work. This is the majority I've seen in children playing this game & yes I do become annoyed with kids like these. I quit ranked long ago because i couldn't handle dealing with these unacknowledged kids that just complain all the time. I rarely see any positive motivation from others. I usually see "?" this as a response if I caught something that was improper. example Garen soloing top lane, while everyone else is in an team-fight or fighting for a objective, but than he gets butt raped 4vs1 than finally complains

I understand if you can't grasp the situation.

Adults born 1980's and up. The rarity of someone's who's anti-technology or knows more than life than technology itself.

Kool we are in the technology era, but health wise around North America is just terrible. Approximately more than half of all the gamer's in the world have health related concerns, heart disease, obesity, diabetes etc.

I henceforth the fact that I'm extremist when it comes down to trying to save the next generation of kids, from our technology curse tho we are throwing it at our children if we already have some it's a disgrace as a parent.

Try not to mock my grammar since everyone has a subject in school they didn't care for, i easily can be stronger in other areas besides worthless writing, i rather speak than write.

Now you may say this is off topic, but given that ADULTS should be mindful on how we indulge in our free-time, I said i wouldn't be gaming that much when i reach 30+ because I'll living out my days working in the field i enjoy, hopefully with an wife and kids before i'm 40.

If you understand this" 34 year old man" think about where you at in life? No army excuse plz I've seen enough of those in this gaming era

I'm 34... guess I only have a few months left to play video games......

Seriously dude.... Get back to me in about 7 years when you are 35. You'll still be playing something. A phone game, and console game, an Android TV game, or maybe you are a grown up with a job that can afford a serious gaming rig. It doesn't matter. Games are truly everywhere. If my 64 year old father in law can queue up his steam copy of Microsoft Flight Simulator X, why can't I pwn some 12 year olds in a death match? Personally, after I leave my full time job in the late afternoon, I want to queue up some GTA online or League and work out some frustration. My wife and I play together usually. It's a great way to spend time with some of our real life friends who also play league.

Sheldonbunny "Thankfully not all children are being raised to not care or respect others" I know what your trying to say it seems like the opposite, but I've seen to many kids playing GTA 5 or other violent games lately. When i do become a parent peer pressure will be tough against my kids, because i want to them to grow up socially knowledgeable, we spent so much time on our phones, iPads etc. Heck i got my first cell phone when i was 26 which than I upgraded to the Google pixel, because i had no choice but to join the era we live in.

Sadly I didn't really have proper education while as an child too much bad shit with my folks, but i was raised in Canada not born here tho. Well my field is not blue-collar because i aint big like most men are which they can easily lift something 200lbs i know i can't I know my limits.

Adult = term of an approval? that makes no sense at all. Heck i didn't graduate elementary school, but heck the word "adult" means to me "An responsible individual whose either an man or women".

Dolasaur: We aren't force by the society to get a job or do whatever. it's our life, heck i wanted a job since i was 16, but didn't get one until i was 23 because of poor job market back in the days. I still wanted to follow the man cycle of life, Work, make kids, work, etc, duh we can some free-time int here, but some people don't like change, so they stop caring. "What means to be human" A mammal able to adapt to any sort of change etc. some people our born without it & yet we can't control that sadly, which is one my friends i knew since i was 14.

Scorpio82 I can promise that than, tho I might have to make an separate Twitter account that hides my personal one oh well. I vent my frustration out on the CPU not anyone online whose trying to have fun playing an online game, it just makes you more angry if you still do that, tho playing with your wife is fine, my kids will get my systems, but they will learn to know better before i give a 18+ game.

I suppose age can be a factor during online play, but I think the amount of time a person spends playing this game is a more important factor. My friend started playing this around 11-12 years old (she's 15 now, I believe?) and like any other person new to a game, she wasn't very good. But she spent time playing, asked questions, looked up guides etc. I'm not saying she's the greatest player, but she has enough game knowledge to know what she's doing.

Correct builds change constantly, so a knowledgeable player would know whats in & out. Even that young they are prone to make more mistakes than adults still.
