Just came back, enjoying it so far!

I started playing in late Season 1 to early Season 2 and played daily up until around Season 5. I ended up leaving the game due to the immense toxicity and overall imbalance that came with snowballing champions.

Today, I came back and queued my first draft game.

**Riot, you guys are the best. The two games I queued were probably the most fun I've had in League of Legends since the first year of me playing the game. **

I'm not sure how often the Devs drop in on the forums here, but if you guys happen to drop in - thank you.

You got lucky you missed season 6 and forced flex queue. It was awful. See you next week with your complaints.

s6 wasnt as bad as s5 honestly. Early season 7 was pretty fun, but im prepping my noose because it looks like we are getting another S5. fucking tank meta.

Agreed. Riot has been trying hard to change up the game but keep it enjoyable at the same time. Its not easy but they somehow manage to do it....... In my opinion at least. Its not always a popular opinion but i hold it none the less.

They've done some incredible work. My first game started with my power going out, so I couldn't connect to the game for at least 5-10 minutes. I reconnected, the very first thing they said was "Hey don't worry about it, stuff happens" and we went right back to playing the game as if nothing had happened.

I got into the game expecting to be flamed into oblivion and reported for afk'ing the match, but I got a few up votes from teammates and the enemy team as well.

This prompted me to queue another match, and that second match was just as friendly. People were commenting on skins, talking about the changes to champions and the LCS game that was going on. It was so nice, I didn't even know how to feel. It was like I wasn't even playing the same game anymore.

This is coming from someone that's queued well over 1k draft games on this account alone - when I queue up and people are helpful, non-toxic, and just overall really chill regardless of winning or losing.. That's what makes me want to keep playing.

people are pretty toxic still, but its gone from toxicity against the other players to being toxicity against really annoying champions.

I do remember in s2-6 it was a lot of toxicity against the players. Its a lot different now, but its still pretty toxic.
