Stop taking away the spectate option in the client whenever you feel like it

I know that not many people use the spectate feature available on the home screen of the client, but many people, myself included, do actually use it. Whenever I don't have time to play a full game, or just don't feel like playing but want to watch high level play, the spectate feature is there, and it's honestly great. They are all diamond/master/challenger elo, and even though I may not ever get that far, it's still fun to be able to watch their games.

But, every now and then some kinda of announcement or video replaces the spectate option, and it's really frustrating, because we just have to wait until Riot feels like putting the client back for us to be able to spectate again. For example, the project alpha strike video is currently taking its current place. Plz just put an option available to put the spectate feature back so that we can use it whenever we want, and that we're not at whoever works the client's mercy.
