More Postivivty, punishing Toxicity

According to the rewards for good behavior only a small percentage (5%) of players were not receiving a mystery gift due to negative behavior. While it's nice and that certainly is a step in the right direction, I think many can agree that more needs to be done.

I just played a match of ARAM with a Ryze who called GG in the first 3 mins because he died. He then proceeded to call us noobs, r%%%%%s, told us that we were dumb and threatened to AFK that this match was a waste of time, and even bitches us out because Yi killed him and we didn't stop him, because I totally wish Yi was targetable in alpha strike, or that we had ANY CC to stop him at all lol.

Let me just tell you we were winning the entire match. They didn't take a single tower from us, and we aced them repeatedly. All the while this Ryze was threatening to AFK and harassing us for reasons unknown.

Now I don't know about some people, I honestly don't know the restrictions and punishments handed out for negative and toxic behavior. But I am so tired of playing nearly every other match with a toxic rager/ AFKer, or someone who is just beyond negative. Yes there is a mute function but honestly when people rage they don't play as well and spend half their time on the rift typing in chat or ALL Chat and setting their team even more behind. Chat Restrictions are nice, and I feel that for some people it really has helped them reform. But for repeat offenders shouldn't there be more punishments like a low priority queue of just the community's most toxic people so they can rage amongst themselves. I don't care if they have to wait 20+ minutes to play a match and honestly if that discourages them from playing at all then good. I'm sorry but the worst of the worst of the community should suffer consequences for their behavior, a low priority queue and a taste of their own medicine seems efficient if it drives them to quit then oh well there goes a whole 5% of the player base, meanwhile the more positive players can enjoy the game.

Leaver Buster is a Queue for constant AFKer's and forces them into long queues with others who are guilty of the same thing, But why doesn't this exist for persistent Toxic/Negative behavior. In fact the only system in place restricts toxic players from ranked and forces them into normals, making those games less enjoyable when it happens.

TL:DR;

Toxic behavior negatively impacts a game for up to 4-9 other players, perhaps Toxic players should be shoved into a Low Priority Queue, if they quit because wait times are 20+ minutes then oh well the community is better off without those 5% of the toxic player base. People who AFk are shoved into a similar Queue why not toxic people who refuse to reform even after Chat Restrictions and loss of rewards?

There is already an underutilized feature to take care of this, mute. When people rage they continue to rage because they are getting reaction from you and your teammates (based on over 2000 wins/3 years experience on the game between all accounts). Where perhaps you didn't start the problem you are responsible for not ending it with the means you are provided with (the mute function).

I say this is the best way to handle this because with any problem that arises in your life the most efficient or easiest thing to mend or change the situation is your own actions. To place the burden of change and action solely on others is a cop out when you also posses means of change. Especially when most arguments start off with 1 person saying something out of frustration that it gets exacerbated by one other person and then the 3 others that have nothing to do with it pick a side alienate and demonize a player and fuel his rage.

           The community needs to realize frustration anger and outbursts, justified or not, are just part of life. If you are annoyed have an impulse to say something back or reading it is affecting your mind set then mute and not try to have some moral debate of who is an asshole or who is being illogical.

In conclusion I submit to you the conjecture that "toxic players" are actually direct products of the league community. We all have a part in creating/fueling them and they are not merely just bad people needing punished. I also conject if we change the report feature and made it less viable or changed it to "don't match with again" it would in turn make the mute feature more viable so there would be less arguments and overall better experience because people would not wait till the end of the game for their choice of solution.

Rito has mentioned something about "prisoner's island" this and "no incentive to reform" or "breeding more toxicity" that with regards to this idea starting as far back as 2 seasons ago. I fully expect absolutely nothing to change regarding that stance.
