Various.. Inconsistencies?

This is going to be sort of an odd post, which is why it's here instead of one of the other boards. I'm pretty much just going to rant about a few things which have been bothering me for awhile now about riot and league. Just the little inconsistencies that slowly eat away at your patience with league until you look at the screen with that blank stare, stand up, and walk away. Or hurl your mouse through your monitor in frustration, whichever.

First off, let's talk about inconsistencies based on bugs. I'm talking about when you make the epic flash over a wall and block Caitlyn's ult, only to have the projectile travel straight through you and hit it's target anyway. Or the bug where CC only works about half a second after it's applied, so Ashe can interrupt Warwick's ult by ulting at the right time, or Warwick can kill (or at least suppress) someone from the other side of a wall because they flashed out of his range after he ulted them. Or the bug where skillshots travel straight through someone. Or melee attacks hitting you after you've flashed/dashed/jumped/teleported/recalled away. Or dealing damage to someone who is recalling, only to have them disappear anyway. Lately I've noticed Yi alpha striking for the entire duration of a stun, which is fun! This list is actually ridiculously long, I'm sure everyone can think of more examples. After nearly four years of playing the game, I'm used to all these stupid derpy scenarios and many many more. But.. it just feels really lame, regardless of which side you're on. It either feels like you're a cheater, or you've been cheated. Personally my favorite thing to do is run up to people with bear stance and stun them just as they flash away, only to have my stun hit them anyway. Then I kill them and spam laugh. I am being toxic, and being rewarded for it. I've seen most of these bugs marked as "fixed" in patch notes, but I haven't actually seen any of them fixed at any point? They all still happen with enough regularity that people aren't even surprised, it's not even a laugh-worthy occasion anymore. I see it happen and two or three people just say "rito pls" in chat, and that's the end of it. We've come to expect league to be buggy and inconsistent, and I'm not okay with that.

Next, let's talk about the way skills interact with each other and with the game. Some of the most ridiculous things I've seen on league happen because "Riot just can't predict how 600 skills will interact!" Now, many of the more ridiculous ones in this category get fixed pretty quickly. Darius can no longer pull an entire enemy team into his fountain. Blitz can no longer pull an enemy across the map after they teleport away. But what about the less noticeable bugs? I'm talking about jumping away from Blitz as Tristana, only to rubber band back to your original position as he pulls the spot you aren't anymore. Or on the flip side, blitz pulling Ezreal only to see Ezreal jump away laughing. Or Leblanc getting knocked up by Xin midway through a wall as she tries to dash away. Or being perma-stunned against the side of the map by Anivia's wall. Ever been shot out of the sky as Aatrox or Kha'zix by an Ashe arrow that hits the air where you used to be? Yeah, these sorts of things get annoying, but for the most part are not easily exploitable, and therefore are left in place. Most of these feel like latency issues, but my 50 ping leads me to believe they're caused by something else. And again, there are literally hundreds of examples that aren't listed here. Please do feel free to add more in the comments.

Lastly, I want to talk about inconsistencies on Riot's part. I'm not going to use any examples here, not because there aren't plenty to choose from, but because most players (and probably most rioters) know exactly what I mean. It just feels like, as a player, Riot isn't one entity. It's ten different entities who never know what the others are thinking or doing. Riot just seems to be at odds with itself most of the time. The design and balance teams don't appear to have much influence on each other. Most of Riot doesn't seem to keep up with the goals Riot lists for itself. I'd at least like to hear explanations along the lines of "We know this goes against our stated intentions, but.." though, I feel like the lack of transparency there is because there's no end to that sentence. Some rioters like to put their foot down in response to outrage and/or criticism, where some jump back and say "oh, sorry, the player IS always right!" It just feels very disorganized and chaotic, and that's not something a company on this scale should be.

Alright, rant over. Sorry for writing so much, sorrier if you read it all, please let me know what you think. I want to know if I'm alone in how I feel, or if other people are right there with me and just silent.

TL;DR: I love you, rito.. but please get your shit together. (Actually, I think I just summed up 90% of the posts on here.)
