Mouse DPI?

Hey guys i got a new gaming mouse Cosair scimitar and i was wondering what DPI settings you guys usually use? I've been trying out different levels in Ascension and aram but still haven't managed to find a sweet spot. My friend told me leaguers generally use 400-1600 dpi but I just wanted some other opinions.

Sorry, I just saw this. I actually am at 800 with all the weights in my mouse. When I don't have my favorite mouse and the mouse weighs less I am closer to 500-600. I think I saw a good article on this that mentions DPI here at best gaming mouse for league of legends
