Is the "new" client a way forwards?
From LoL Nexus: "Yes! “My Shop” wasn’t available during this year’s Lunar Revel because the updated client doesn’t currently support it, but we plan to make it available on the new client in the near future. Right now, we’re focusing on client stability and performance, particularly on low-spec machines. Once we feel like the updated client is running smoothly, we’ll continue to focus on adding additional features like “My Shop.”"

So here in that article of Ask Riot, the question of where is "My Shop" is asked, and the response "new client doesnt support it". So my concern is this: We went "forward" to a client that is much more stable, more beautiful, and has more stuff to it than the last. But since the release of the client we get, numerous of bugs and many of them affect core parts like champion select and queue, performance hits, less content, and removed content.
Don't get me wrong I like the new client, but I think Riot should have taken a little more time to smooth things out and bring EVERYTHING, from item sets to "My Shop" to Game modes to purchasing skins while in the champion selection to performance optimizations, before releasing it to the public. (Side note: Please bring the Ban animation of the old client, it was MUCH more beautiful than the current swipe we have) So, hooray for aesthetics, but when it comes to usability I'll stick the old client than the current "new" one.
