No idea what board this should be placed under so we are going with miscellaneous.

Anyway. In this day and age I do not understand why Riot has not introduced a two-factor authentication system with League. Completely optional, but they should really introduce such a system. This is something that is virtually standard from almost day 1 for all new or major online PC games.

If you were to actually sit down and look at how much money you have spent on league through your entire account, it is likely you will be surprised the the entire price tag. Financial security alone should be cause enough to want something like this in place.

Anyway. Riot has already (recently and finally) released their first official app and while its 1 feature is very limited. It is the first step to introducing such a system.

In addition we all know how much Riot cares about their profits and Tencent as the now owner certainly does. The cost to introduce a two-factor authentication system has to be much less than hiring and maintaining the staff to handle these issues that they need today.
