So what do you all think

Player support

vote for one you think the most

A=real people who see my ticket, read it fully, and help me through w/e ive inquired (bugfix, etc, etc)

B=real people, who read the subject line, and give an answer based on that, no answer about whats inside the actual ticket

C=bots, who give generic answers based on subject line...any question in ticket will not be addressed

btw just some food for thought since i know im not alone

http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/help-support/9AswawHF-player-support-is-only-bots

the red response is the best part of that

all responses and comments are welcome, reds even more

think about it.

30 million active accounts. if just 0.1% of those players send a ticket every day, that is 30,000 tickets per day. If it takes someone 3 minutes to read a ticket and send a reply, that is 90,000 minutes. = 1,500 hours. it would take 1,500 hours to respond to all the tickets from just one day.

no. no one is reading your ticket, not even the title. and no one ever will. its impossible.

first this is retarded

theres MILLIONS upon MILLIONS of cars and your argument is there's to many dont bother fixing them? that in itself is dumb but why have open body shops if that is your perspective? aka player support

I AM VBAD3 votes

your analogy is retarded. there are millions and millions of car repair shops to deal with the cars. there is only 1 riot games.

1,500 hours a day. they would have to hire 200+ full time employees working exclusively on support tickets. not gonna happen.

do you understand the money riot makes because i really dont think you do? and im not saying a staff responding to a ticket the instant its in, even a couple of days is fine but atm having to wait 2-3 days for an automated response about something you werent even talking about is bad to say the least

and if it was the way you said then why even have a player support service and not a knowledge base? (yes i know they have one but theres like 10 topics in it, and outdated)

im not the one opening a car shop and saying i can make repairs and thats my point even if it went over your head because you're trying to analyze it to deep and rationalize it

let me put it simple for your simple mind

if you open a hot dog stand, are you gonna give out just the boxes w/o anything in them? -hot dog stand is riot player support -empty boxes are responses that have nothing to do with the questions asked

doesnt seem like player support now does it? btw what do you have to say about the link i provided? that your idea of a good player support?

I AM VBAD1 votes

I agree with you its terrible player support. its almost definitely a fully automated system. and its not going to change.

how many employees do you think riot has? id be surprised if they have 100. things are going great for them. the money is rolling in. do you think they are suddenly going to hire 200 more people for customer support at the cost of millions of dollars? why would they? they are doing quite well with almost 0 customer support.

Where is the vote for "Who thinks OldDirtay got a response he didn't like so he wants to take his anger out on Riot"?

I vote that one. Your tickets are reviewed quickly then given a priority level. If it's something stupid that can wait, low priority, and the reverse is true. It eventually gets fully reviewed and you get a response. If you are not happy with the response, do not request the ticket to be marked as "solved". If they select "solved" for you, you can still respond to open up conversation again, or you can submit another ticket.

Bots do not handle your ticket or they would be answered very quickly. Sometimes your response is a copy-paste (such as troubleshooting procedures or quoting guidelines), but that is just called being efficient. The fact that sometimes a ticket is handled improperly is proof that a human is behind it; that is called human error, and it happens.

I can't stress enough, if you don't like the response, then respond to them again or open a new ticket. But be aware that your satisfaction is not guaranteed. Do not assume that any demands you make must be fulfilled by player support.

If you hate the response you got so much, how about copy paste the entire conversation here?

#1 i got a response that had nothing to do with my question #2 anything you ever would ask i would never do just because i dont give in to trolls (including the copy/paste) #3 why are you unranked, play nothing but bots and arams and just troll forums? #4 why does every one of your posts seem like you think your better than everyone else? #5 why for lack of better terms be an azzhat? #6 i noticed you said nothing about the link i provided, i wonder why, go against your point? #7 that improper response ,by no means, means its a human behind it because its an error. where do you even come up with that? computers dont have errors?really? lol

honestly the more i look at your old posts and the more i read how you word stuff, i dont think you even know what the is being talked about let alone the question at hand lol....seems like you go looking for a war then pick a side, aka one of the 14 yr olds with no job acting like he knows everything rofl

newsflash! you dont, in fact not even close! learn 2 stay on subject instead =)

you think that just 200 people work for riot? lmao

there is 10 different regions with servers (china alone has over 40 servers)

you think that 20 people work at each riot hq?

and 200 people working for riot in general? do you realize what each employee would be getting paid? 624MILLION in 2013

so your saying they distributed 624million over 200 people? thats over 3million for every employee....and even if morello kept HALF of the pay every single person would still get over 1.5mill...so....ya, i dont think that

not only is this kind of going offtopic but the point was player support is trash, if they have such little employee's for this department theres only 2 options, make it bigger or get rid of it and either way im down for either

if the people doing player support put time into a knowledge base imagine what it would look like? because i see a plethora of information thats easy to access and will have solutions to problems people are having, as opposed to having to open a ticket about say cant stop crashing in arams, then 3 days later you get a response saying something like hey you may like playing our mode called aram, just click the aram option and hit play

see my point?
