3 months ago, there were 5 new SKT T1 skins (
) on PBE available for testing. Shortly after that, they were removed because of negative feedback. It was confirmed that they will be remade and SKT T1 
will be added as well. -

A year ago, there was a new item available for testing on PBE- the Mandrake Ward, but it was removed because of many bugs. -there were also few item reworks that were removed:
: NEW PASSIVE: Deals damage to every nearby enemy every few seconds, reducing their magic resist.
: NEW PASSIVE: Basic attacks and spell casts grant +4% attack speed and +4 AP for 8 seconds (stacks infinitely). -
There were tentative
changes on PBE which were removed shortly after they were added.
Runic Blade (Passive) changed to: Riven's abilities charge her blade, causing her next basic attack to deal bonus damage. If Runic Blade damages an enemy champion, Riven gains 20 Edge.
Riven's damage is increased by up to 10% based on how much Edge she has.
