How do you counter jax in lane?

Hey, I need some advice. What do I build against Jax to be able to 1v1 kill him in lane? Any top laners I use in my wide variety, I seem to always get killed by jax. I'm aware of what he does and how his kit works, but every single time he all in's me I am completely suprised at how much damage he deals to me, and once he has killed me once he is fed and it's over for me. I try armor, I try MR, I try straight Armor and MR including Warden's Mail -> Frozen Heart to reduce his attack speed(which seems almost useless because he gets an attack reset, and his passive + guinsoo's is just free stats) but he can always dive me and kill me super fast.. and it's ridiculous. I have the same problem against Yi and XZ (Not even close to as bad with Xin Zhao though because hes kinda hot garbage, but guinsoo's ... fuck)

I guess this is more of a question of how do I counter Guinsoo's and Hextech, Melee hybrid builds?

Fight around his stun and kill him before 6.

Malphite is his biggest counter, as you can slow his attack speed whenever he tries to fight. Fiora can use her repost as he stuns, and then stun him and beat the hell out of him. Nasus can stay away, get tanky, and farm. Anybody ranged can poke him. (Quinn)

Don't build defenses against him. He's too spread out in damage types. Build offense and just kill him faster. Ranged champs handle him well, as do the few mages and AD casters who can top. Basically anyone not entirely dependent on auto attacks. Lane Jax actually has a LOT of counters and even the people he can lane against early still have the chance to outplay him. He just scales so hard. So either pick someone who CAN bully him and do it as much as you can... you should be able to group up early and put your fed self into teamfights while he's still trying to figure out why he's 0/5 with only 30 CS at 18 minutes. Or pick someone who scales as hard as he does and then play normally.

Mobility and CC. Preferably on ranged champions. Or simply play champs that are too innately tanky for him to crush. Casters work wonders too, ad or ap, hes really predictable

Vladimir I've always had success against Jax with Vlad. Mainly make sure you're warded up so you can afford to be aggressive with your pool.

jax is weak in laning phase. till level 6 that is but still. not that hard till level 10 or when he gets 2-3 items. then even his counters cant stop him
