150-180 My Golden Ping

I live in the Caribbean and I play on the NA server. Now as my title says I play with 150 - 180 ping when my ping is what I consider 'crispy'. Now I hear about people who actually live in NA play with 30 - 40 ping and people often complain about ping of 70 - 80 saying it's too laggy, or when it reaches 100+ they have to stick to CO vs AI. So I would like to ask whether you can actually feel the difference between 30 ping and 70 ping? Or have I just gotten really accustomed to playing with my 150 ping. Cause I don't feel as if it is laggy at all with 150 ping, actually I find it extremely responsive.

Also on a side note is there anyway to reduce ping besides moving closer to the hosting location?

you've just gotten used to it, if it were possible for you to play at 30 ping, you would NEVER again want to play with 150. there is a visible difference from 30-70 let alone from 30-150.
