There really is no punishment for toxic players

In games, people have said things to me that are religiously offensive, and racist, and reporting them so they might get a wait to play games isn't really enough. I don't know of a solution to this problem, but I just wanted to bring it up, so maybe as a community we can help work toward a solution.

lol not laughing at you, but the fact that someone would do that

{quoted} , and reporting them so they might get a wait to play games isn't really enough.

Why would making them wait to play a round have solved anything anyway?

The solution is to consistently report them. But, most of them aren't always like that, so even if they are reported for every offense it isn't enough to restrict them.

Riot is, however, working on the system so that it more easily identified these people and doles out the punishment almost immediately and emails them their chat logs to show what the problem was.

Riot has never been blind to this problem and is doing what is necessary, and I'm pretty sure it is coming soon.

are we talking 'they called me a cracker' racist or 'actually offensive racial slurs' racist because that's a big difference. But also I understand completely, you can have not said anything the whole game and those players will say some dumbass rude shit without getting so much as a slap on the wrist for it.

they never get a wait to play games. that is exclusively for afks. but they will get a chat restriction eventually.
