@riot, why isn't aram completely random yet?

Like I saw a poll on reddit with 19,000 people. 86% said they want aram to be random, is this not a good enough clue? I srs can't think of a good reason as to why you need to own the champs for aram (other than to make new players have less fun of course)

Because_ "random"_ does not mean "all champions are unlocked in ARAM because Riot's established business model should be abandoned specifically for ARAM because terrible players assume anybody and everybody who beats them is an ARAM smurf with only Caitlyn, Varus, Sona, Nidalee, Fiddlesticks unlocked"

For correct definitions of "random" as it pertains to probability, feel free to consult with your "Remedial Sophomore English" and "Introduction to Pre-Algebra" teachers in three weeks.

"BUT MUH REDDIT UPVOTES!!!???"

You don't know this yet, but The Real World™ (a.k.a. "IRL" or "outside") does not care about your upvotes. Especially not Tencent.

Because ARAM only players need to spend IP on something too,

Word. I think this would also be good business for Riot, because players would try lots more different champs and find more they like and want to buy, instead of trying to stick with the same thing ala the special ARAM accounts. Also, then players who play a lot of ARAM would probably be more interested in other game modes, because sometimes you want to play the champion you want to play, not random. With the ARAM special accounts, people get a champ they want to play at least 50% of the time, and the others they can dodge, trade, or re-roll, so this encourages people to only play ARAM who are so inclined, which isn't good for Riot's business model I imagine....
