If you're connected to facebook you get a free mystery champion? I've been connected to it since this week so would I still be able to get it if this is so?

The rewards haven't been sent out yet. Here is the answer from the FAQs:
#When exactly do I get stuff during Rewards Week? It’s a little tricky to turn all this stuff on at once, but everything should be granted by 6/27. The only exception is the Mystery Champion, which will roll out by 7/1.
As long as your account is connected before the event is over, you'll get the free champion. You'll be eligible for other rewards if you have gifted anything during the event or participated in at least one 5-man premade.
