Why can we not use IP to help friends with different champions? Please Riot?

That would immediately result in less-savory types offering to purchase champions for others in exchange for cash. It would likely increase the use of bots to farm IP.

what about putting restrictions onto the friends gifting? Like know them for ____ amount?
