He was originally cancelled and wasn't planed on being released but he was popular and the community supported him so Riot ended up releasing him. So next time you want to complain about Lee Sin just remember that we, as the community, asked for him.

Uh no. We asked for HIM. Admittedly his kit is very cool, and very fun. However we did not ask for him to dominate every game he is in. We didnt ask for huge damage and 0 weakspots.
